The buyer is paying off the seller's outstanding auto loan as all or part of the purchase price. The transaction includes coordinating directly with the seller's lender to release the title.
Seller guidance
Request a formal payoff letter from your lender with the exact amount due and the payoff good-through date. Provide your lender's payoff mailing address and instructions to the buyer.
